Personalized Horse Care
The farm is set on 17+ quiet country acres at the end of a lane located just five miles from charming Groton Center, and 10 miles from Route 495. The rural location offers direct access to acres of riding trails and conservation land.
Our horse facilites consists of two barns with a total of 23 stalls; 23 paddocks, including several grass paddocks and sand standing paddocks; a fenced 100×200 outdoor arena with sand and stone dust footing, and a 72×170 indoor arena with sand and fiber footing, wall mirrors, and a viewing room. Acorn Hill Stables also has a cottage on site, where our Barn Manager lives.
UPPER BARN
The upper barn has 12, 12×14 stalls, 9 with an individual turnout; a wash stall with hot/cold water and heat lamps; a grain room and large tack lockers for each boarder.
LOWER BARN
The lower barn, with direct access to the indoor arena, has 11, 11×12 stalls; a wash stall with hot/cold water; as well as separate grain and tack rooms.
